“村超”在榕江的兴起和出圈，经历了一个全县上下持续探索尝试的过程。2021年2月，春节前夕，习近平总书记赴贵州考察，就经济高质量发展、乡村振兴等提出重要要求，让全省城乡干部群众欢欣鼓舞、倍添信心决心。贵州牢记总书记殷切嘱托，把闯新路、开新局、抢新机、出新绩作为高质量发展主目标。也正是在这一年，榕江着力推动打造县域文旅品牌，以期深化文旅融合、赋能县域经济高质量发展。从2021年底起，榕江先后策划推出了“大山里的CBA+民族文化”、“乐里侗年+斗牛”、“苗族牯藏节+乡村民宿”、“侗族萨玛节+半程马拉松”、“触地即燃”草根篮球赛等5次融合式县域IP塑造活动，一次次努力，尽管没有出圈，也不断积累了举办群众性文体活动的经验。
