Over 8,000 GitHub repositories contain Lean code. Over 200,000 users have installed the programming environment. More than 700 people are active in the Lean Zulip channel every day. Research groups worldwide contribute to the ecosystem. As Chris Lattner observed, manual rewrites and translation work are becoming AI-native tasks. AI will rewrite the world’s codebase. The platform it does so on matters enormously.
